Description

Betamethasone (0.025% w/w) + Clotrimazole (1% w/w) + Gentamicin (0.5% w/w) is a topical medication primarily used to treat skin conditions caused by fungal or bacterial infections that are also inflamed. It combines a corticosteroid (betamethasone), an antifungal (clotrimazole), and an antibiotic (gentamicin) to address both the infection and the associated inflammation and itching. 

• Fungal and bacterial skin infections:

  This combination is effective against various fungal and bacterial skin infections, including those associated with conditions like eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. 

• Inflammatory skin conditions:

  It helps reduce inflammation, redness, and itching associated with conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis when they are complicated by secondary infections. 

• Secondary infections:

  The antibiotic component (gentamicin) helps to treat secondary bacterial infections that may arise from open wounds, cuts, or other skin damage, while the antifungal component (clotrimazole) helps to treat fungal infections.
